The Middle Tennessee Society for Human Resource Management (MT|SHRM) is a not for profit association with more than 785 Human Resource (HR) professionals practicing in business, education and government. Formed in 1967 MT|SHRM has been recognized consistently by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as a Superior Merit Award Chapter for excellence in operations and service to members.
MT|SHRM's purpose is to be recognized in the communities we serve as leaders in Human Resource Management by:
- Providing high quality, dynamic and responsive programs and services to our members;
- Being the voice of the profession on human resource management issues; and
- Facilitating the development and guiding the direction of the Human Resource profession.
