2008 Accomplishments
- Increased total chapter membership to 784 members
- Contacted National members who are not local members, encouraging them to join the chapter
- Created a new chapter brochure
- Conducted 2 New Member Orientation Breakfasts
- Established the Corporate Discount Policy
2009 Goals and Ideas
- Increase membership by 6% by 12/31/09
- Continue to encourage national SHRM members to join MT|SHRM
- Conduct 2 New Member Orientation Breakfasts
- Research feasiblity of expanding edges of our geographic territory to attract new members

- JOIN the committee
- Encourage other HR Professionals to consider joining MT|SHRM
- Assist staff at monthly meeting registration tables, making guests feel welcome
- Assist in conducting the New Member Orientation Breakfasts
